GTA VI Trailer 3 Predictions: Release Date & Gameplay

With Trailer 2 in the rearview mirror, the community is already searching for Trailer 3. Here is when we expect Rockstar to break the internet again.

Raul Bautista, a seasoned bank robber revealed in GTA VI promotional materials
Raul Bautista, a seasoned bank robber and rumored heist mentor for Jason and Lucia, is expected to feature prominently in Trailer 3's gameplay showcase.

Rockstar Games is the master of the long-game marketing strategy. Following the successful shadow-drop of Trailer 2 on May 6, 2025, search interest for GTA 6 Trailer 3 has spiked by over 800%. While we are still months away from the November 19, 2026 release, the pattern for the final marketing push is becoming clear.

The "Gameplay" Trailer

While the first two trailers were cinematic and focused on the vibes and setting of Leonida, Trailer 3 is traditionally where Rockstar shows off the gameplay mechanics. We expect a deep dive into the Lucia and Jason dynamic, showcasing how the "Trust Mechanic" works during active heists and open-world exploration.

Meet Raul Bautista

Central to these heist predictions is the newly revealed character, Raul Bautista. Described as a seasoned bank robber with a cunning and reckless reputation, Raul is widely believed to be the heist mentor who introduces Jason and Lucia to the high-stakes criminal underworld of Vice City. Trailer 3 is expected to feature him prominently, potentially as the narrator guiding us through the game's expanded robbery systems.

What We Expect to See

Expect to see the first glimpses of the in-game smartphone UI, which we believe will host the new dedicated Cheat App. The trailer will likely also show off the improved density of Vice City, featuring fully accessible building interiors and the RAGE 9 aquatic physics in a high-speed boat chase led by Raul's crew.

As we enter the final stretch before the November 19, 2026 launch, the window for Trailer 3 is rapidly approaching. Rockstar is expected to follow its historical cadence with a meaty gameplay deep-dive in the coming weeks. Until the official drop, you can track the remaining time until the return to Vice City on our GTA VI release countdown.
